What Are Mindfulness and Astrology Doing at the Same Table?
One looks at the sky, the other at the breath. The link is not obvious at first — but in practice both ask the same question.

A question I am asked often: "What does astrology have to do with mindfulness?" At first glance it is fair. One looks at the sky, the other at the breath.
But they meet in the same place: noticing.
What astrology shows you
A birth chart is a map of patterns. What you tend towards, what you automatically do in a given situation, which theme repeats through your life.
The chart shows you the pattern. But showing is not enough — knowing a pattern does not change it. Much like knowing that smoking is harmful.
Where mindfulness comes in
A pattern can only change if it is noticed while it is running. Saying "I did it again" afterwards is not awareness; it is regret.
Mindfulness practice opens exactly that gap: placing one second between reflex and response. That one second is what stops the pattern the chart identified from running automatically.
Astrology shows the pattern. Mindfulness opens the gap that stops it.
How they combine in practice
The order I follow with clients is usually this:
- We identify the repeating theme in the chart together
- We write down which everyday moments trigger it
- We build a short, workable awareness practice for those specific moments
- A few weeks later we review what changed
That fourth step matters. What you do not measure does not change.
About the certificate programme
The three-month mindfulness training is approved by Başkent University and the certificate is verifiable through e-Devlet. The programme consists of live online classes, PDF materials and practice assignments.
Places are kept limited for a simple reason: I respond to every practice assignment individually, and that is only possible in a small group.
One message is enough to begin
Sessions run one-to-one and online. Training groups are limited in size; message me for upcoming start dates.
